TEN YEARS THAILAND

In this omnibus film, four Thai directors tell us how they envisage the future of their country. And so, we see four pieces where the future is mixed with a critique of the political situation in Thailand. Aditya Assarat films a young soldier in an art gallery, and subtly transmits the present state of repression. Wisit Sasanatieng shoots a futuristic fable full of cat people. The visual artist Chulayarnnon Siriphol fills the screen with colors in an animated dystopia. And the maestro Apichatpong Weerasethakul serenely captures a man talking about good sleep machines in a square overlooked by a national monument.
