The Catalan director, a leading name in contemporary cinema, has won acclaim at festivals such as Cannes \u2013 Special Jury Award in the Section Un certain regard<\/span><\/i> for <\/span>Libert\u00e9<\/span><\/i> (2021)-, Marseilles \u2013 Prize for Best Film for <\/span>Roi Soleil<\/span><\/i> (2018)- or Locarno \u2013 Golden Leopard for best film for <\/span>Hist\u00f2ria de la meva mort<\/span><\/i> (2013)-, among many others.
