In this new phase, the seven projects selected will have an opportunity to discuss the progress they have made since they had their first face-to-face meeting in Bilbao at last year\u2019s festival.\r\n\r\nThe successful projects were chosen from among <strong>forty-nine applications <\/strong>and previously underwent analysis and accompaniment by a panel of experts from a range of backgrounds. The panel consisted of filmmakers <strong>Ivana Bo\u0161njak<\/strong> and <strong>Thomas Johnson<\/strong>; programmer <strong>S\u00e9bastien Sperer<\/strong>, (who has been a member of the selection committee at the Annecy Festival for the last 25 years); <strong>Daniel \u0160ulji\u0107<\/strong>, artistic director at <strong>Animafest Zagreb<\/strong>; and Basque scriptwriter and filmmaker <strong>Pedro Rivero<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nThis year\u2019s selection consists of six short films and one feature. The short films are <strong><em>Ac &amp; Apo<\/em><\/strong>, by Bilbao illustrator <strong>Isabel Molinos<\/strong>; <strong><em>Klera<\/em><\/strong>, by San Sebastian studio <strong>Dibulitoon<\/strong>, based on the children\u2019s book by the writer <strong>Leire Bilbao<\/strong>; <strong><em>Los Ni\u00f1os de la Guerra<\/em><\/strong>, by London-based filmmaker <strong>Alize Sotelo <\/strong>from Navarre; <strong><em>Pac\u00edfico<\/em><\/strong>, by Chilean filmmaker <strong>Camila Mur\u00faa<\/strong>; <strong><em>Shio<\/em><\/strong>, by Georgian filmmaker <strong>Ana Markozashvili<\/strong>; and <strong><em>Txantxangorria<\/em><\/strong>, by French director <strong>Alice Lahourcade<\/strong>. Completing the selection is <strong><em>Noa<\/em><\/strong>, a feature film by Colombian director <strong>Diego Gaviria<\/strong>.\r\n\r\nThis second round of conversations continues the mentoring process begun in Bilbao last year by <strong>ZINEBI Animation Lab<\/strong>.
