For the 67th Festival image, illustrator and art director José Luis Ágreda has created a vibrant, energetic composition to celebrate the collective power of cinema.
Ágreda places movement and collaboration at the centre — a shared race in which each figure represents an essential role in the filmmaking process. The poster’s main features are its strong use of colour and visual dynamism. The stylised figures convey energy, diversity and the spirit of teamwork.
The design combines precise geometry with a clean, contemporary line to create an image that is both modern and optimistic, perfectly in tune with ZINEBI’s youthful, participatory spirit. The artwork serves to reinforce the festival’s identity as a vibrant meeting space for dialogue and shared cultural creation among filmmakers, institutions and audiences.
Ágreda, a leading figure in Spanish illustration and animation (art director for works such as Buñuel en el laberinto de las tortugas – Goya 2020 – and the Oscar-nominated Robot Dreams – 2023 -), brings his hallmark style – marked by narrative clarity and the expressive power of colour – to this poster, which symbolises “the collective strength that drives cinema.”
