THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF DOCUMENTARY AND SHORT FILM OF BILBAO, ZINEBI, COLLABORATES THIS YEAR WITH THE FESTIVAL DE CINÉMA DE LA VILLE DE QUÉBEC (FCVQ)
The International Festival of Documentary and Short Film of Bilbao, ZINEBI, collaborates this year with the Festival de cinéma de la ville de Québec (FCVQ), which starts tomorrow the 11th in the capital city of Québec.
For the 13th edition of the FCVQ, ZINEBI presents in its carte blanche a session that includes the short films Ximinoa (Itziar Leemans, 2023)-winner of the Grand Prize of Basque Cinema in the last edition of ZINEBI-, Hirugarren koadernoa (Lur Olaizola Lizarralde, 2022), Semana 12 (Isabel Delclaux, 2023), La mujer ilustrada (Isabel Herguera, 2023)and Kusikozu (Aitor Irulegi, 2023).
We are grateful for the work and complicity of Marie-Elaine Riou and Helen Faradji to weave ties of cooperation from the other side of the Atlantic, the mediation of Etxepare Euskal Institutua (Etxepare Basque Institute) and the kindness and enthusiasm of Arantza Maldonado and Pedro Ruiz, whom we hope to receive in Bilbao in two months.
After looking at its great programming, good cinema is guaranteed, so we wish the Festival to celebrate a successful edition.
