    PARAÍSO

    Marina Lameiro, Maddi Barber

    Synopsis
Two men measure the heights of pine trees. A woman is listening to what the trees have to say. The children of the village set up tents. A cloud of digital dots shows the forest. They used to call this place “Paraíso”. After the villages in the Arce Valley were abandoned in the 1960s, the Government of Navarre planted pine trees in the fields that were used as pasture for animals. 50 years later, the newcomers have decided to cut down the pines and recover the fields.
