Jury statement For beginning a conversation on the consequences of the war, a sensitive issue with a deep impact on the present. Directors and production crew place their trust in the documentary to retrieve recollections of an event and generate a new perspective which will enable people to connect to a collective experience. The film portrays how the past continues to exert an influence on the present, ushering in an open reflection on the traumas undergone to write down the future, in which healing and relief assist in taking on and vanquishing the ghosts of the past.
